Murrayville.

Murrayville is a small community with historical roots, in the Township of Langley, located just to the east of the City of Langley. It is the location of the Township of Langley Operations Centre, Royal Canadian Mounted Police offices, and the Langley School Board office. Langley Municipal Airport is located just to the north of Murrayville.

Murrayville has various businesses, as well as a grocery store and a pharmacy. It is also home to a recreation centre, housing a wave pool with six swimming lanes and a shallow children's area, as well as a sauna and hot tub. The building also contains a fitness room, a weight room, a meeting room, and a multi-purpose room.

There is full-time fire protection provided for these areas by the Township of Langley. As with other town centres in Langley, policing is provided by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), as well as many services and housing specifically designed for seniors.

The community of Murrayville has been designed for all ages; offering condos for the ‘first time home buyer, townhomes, and executive homes built for young families in mind. This is a sought after historic little town.

Murrayville has two elementary schools and one high school. It also has two Christian schools - one elementary and one secondary. Among the historical buildings of Murrayville is an old church building.

Commuters from Murrayville, for both east and west bound, can access Highway 10 via the Langley Bypass and Glover Road or Highway 1 via Glover Road or 232nd Street. Translink bus service is accessible to most area residents. Commuters from Salmon River gain access via Highway 1 from 232nd Street and commuters from Aldergrove and Otter gain access via Hwy 13 (264th St).

Aldergrove. To the east of Murrayville, lie the areas of Aldergrove and Otter. Aldergrove has a bustling shopping area and is home to the now decommissioned CFB Aldergrove, Canadian Forces Base. Highway 13 (264th St), running to the US Border crossing at Lynden, crosses Aldergrove from Hwy 1 and south, through the area of Otter. Farmland can found south of the Aldergrove town centre and to the west along 16th Ave, towards Campbell Valley and Brookswood.

Aldergrove has three elementary schools, one middle school and one secondary school.
